Personalised Embroidery

You can also have your gown, dress or romper embroidered and we can advise you if this is possible on your choice of garment. On the back of a sailor collar looks wonderful or initials near the hem of a dress can add that finishing touch.

All the embroidery is done in script (sorry I don't have a font that shows this exactly) on a silk plaque (a small piece of silk) if you prefer you can have the embroidered plaque sent to you loose for you to put where ever you prefer when you receive your christening outfit.
Sorry but we cannot embroidery directly on the garment but only on a silk plaque which is then sewn onto the garment or bib or sent loose depending on your choice.

The charge for this is £1.00 per character so to put

would be 11 characters @ £1.00 each = £11.00
(spaces & dots are not charge for)

would be £4.00

If you prefer a plain font instead of script please ask for that on your order.

A line is approx. 10 characters (letters/spaces/numbers) across but his does depend on which characters are chosen as a letter 'i' takes up less space than a 'w' for example.
Some customers have asked for quite a lot of characters but still want them on just lines but this just is not possible so if you asked for

then this would take up around 5 lines and would look something like this:

All embroidery work is centered unless you request for it not to be.
We cannot embroider a comma and this would be changed to a dot please see examples above.
