Most children's wear companies on the Continent use height as an age/size guide. Now you and I both know that children are not all the same height at the same age but we have found that this method works best for us. To find what size you need to buy, measure the height of your child (please don't guess as an inch can make a huge difference on a baby or toddler). If you don't have a wall chart then the most acurate way is to stand your child against a wall and put a rule (or slim stick etc) on top of their head and mark the wall (oops! not on the wallpaper) and then measure the wall rather than the wriggling child. |
Against ever size on our website, you will find a grid (like the one below) and this shows what height the manufacturer uses for their 'average' age. Not all manufacturers use the same standard so please check each grid before placing an order.' For example: If your child is 96 cms then we would recommend you choose the 3/4 year size and this means this should fit a child from 3 years up to 4 years but we will be happy to email you measurements before we despatch if you request this in the 'other info' box on the order form. If you like the 'big n' baggy' look or want lots of growing room then move up a size - in our experience, children never shrink!
