A Bit of Info about sizings at
Mischiefkids
I would love to say that all the sizings
at Mischief are standard. I wish they were! it would make life
so much easier.
But because we don't buy from just
one company, or even one country, (we prefer to choose from
the best the world has to offer) then I suppose its only to
be expected that sizes will differ.
As a general rule, but not always,
you will find that French clothes are fairly small fitting,
those from Germany are huge and you can expect anything from
the Dutch and Italians.
Before we send you your parcel we can
run a tape measure over the actual garment and email you the
measurements
if you like because we want to make sure that what you get is
what is right for you and your little individual.
A General Guideline
Most children's wear companies on the Continent use height as
an age guide.
Now you and I both know that children are not all the same height
at the same age but we have found that this method works best
for us.
The guideline below is what most (not all) companies
say is 'average'.
e.g. In the age column below a 3/4 years means this should
fit a child from 3 years up to 4 years.

DR MARTENS SIZE CONVERSION
Children's 'stitch down' styles only go up to size 2 UK.
Many women purchase men's styles.
The best fit in these cases are a US men's, 2 sizes smaller than your
normal US women's size.
So if you wear a US women's 8, you should get a men's US 6
